A Lifetime of Dance with Sutton School of Performing Arts
At our school, we believe there’s a performer in everyone. Dance is more than just steps. It’s about confidence, creativity, fitness, and fun.
From the very first class at age two, right through to major levels, we offer a wide variety of styles to suit every child’s interests and strengths.
Whether it’s the grace of ballet, the energy of tap, the creativity of contemporary, the excitement of acro, or the magic of musical theatre, each class is designed to inspire, challenge, and nurture a lifelong love of dance.
With regular opportunities to perform, build friendships, and celebrate achievements, we help every student shine, both on stage and beyond.
Inspiring the next generation since 1989
What Sets Us Apart?
From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re not just joining a class, you’re becoming part of a supportive and friendly community. Students quickly make real friendships, building confidence together and encouraging each other every step of the way.
What truly makes Sutton different is the atmosphere. The teachers are not only highly skilled but genuinely approachable and caring. They take the time to get to know every student, helping them feel comfortable, valued and inspired, whether they are stepping into a studio for the first time or training at an advanced level.

About Us
The Sutton School of Performing Arts was formed in 1989, based on a love of the Performing Arts. Since its foundation, the business has flourished, now offering superb levels of training and nurturing to all students. When Sarah Sutton first started the business, her love of ballet, tap and modern was the sound basis of the school and her own success runs deep in the business.
Sarah is a fully qualified R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) teacher and also I.S.T.D ( Imperial Society Teachers of Dance) teacher. Sarah has worked professionally on cruise ships and has featured as a lead dancer in a number of high profile roles on television.
